At first, I couldn't decide if this should be a Test it Out Tuesday or Wellness Wednesday post. Since we use a significant amount of honey and sugar, I figured it wasn't really all that healthy. We're very lucky to not have any peanut allergies in our home. Luckier still to be able to play with this awesome craft when the mood strikes us. It strikes Pie more often than I'm willing to pull it together, but it's great for the whole family because it's delicious and fun! Today we're sharing our peanut butter play dough recipe. Here's what we did:
This recipe makes about 8 servings and the dough can be stored in the refrigerator or the freezer. In the past I've used popsicle sticks, just plain old silverware, bowls, and cups. Basically whatever won't hurt her and isn't dirty. While it may not be super healthy for you, it really is delicious and fun. I've taken this stuff on road trips and it was a wonderful treat for her to play and eat while stuck in the car for so many hours. If your baker has tried this craft, tell us about it and send us a photo! We'd love to see them and we will share some with our friends on our Facebook page. What kind of "baking supplies" did you guys use on with your dough?
