This Summer we're sharing a few of our favorite things to do, including some of our homeschooling activities. One of those activities is being a part of our local 4-H group. It's been a wonderful experience so far and Pie has loved learning about animals and agriculture. If you've never heard of 4-H, check out their website to learn all about it.
Every month we meet with a group of kids who share a passion for science, healthy living, and agriculture. We've picked up some great crafts, learned about oranges and beef, and have met some great people along the way. Today we're sharing one of the crafts Pie recently created at one of her meetings. Maybe you've seen some of the amazing art pieces using this technique, the possibilities are endless and each creation is a unique design. Pie loves this craft, she hung her piece above her bed and tells everyone who visits about it. If you and your little artist take on this awesome craft, send us a photo! We'd love to see them and we will share some with our friends on our Facebook page. And be sure to check out your local 4-H group for a great opportunity to teach your child about their local farming community, where their food comes from, and meet some really wonderful people who will inspire your kids to contribute to their communities.
